On the morning of May 22nd, the Ho Chi Minh City Industrial Park Business Association (HBA), in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing Zones and Industrial Parks Management Board (HEPZA), organized a conference to update businesses in the city's export processing zones and industrial parks on new legal regulations related to planning, construction, and fire safety in investment and construction activities. The conference was held at the Vinh Loc Industrial Park. More than 250 businesses operating in Ho Chi Minh City's export processing zones and industrial parks participated in the program.
The conference was organized with the main purpose of disseminating newly enacted or amended legal regulations related to planning, construction, and fire prevention and fighting (PCCC) in investment and construction activities, and creating a direct forum for businesses to exchange information, raise difficulties and obstacles encountered in the practical implementation of projects, and thereby receive timely guidance and answers from experts.
Attending the program were Dr. Phu Van Toan – Representative of the Construction Management Department – Ministry of Construction and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy – Deputy Head of the Fire Prevention Team – PC07 Department – Ho Chi Minh City Police, who were leaders and experts from competent state management agencies. They shared much useful information and answered questions and concerns of businesses in the fields of planning, construction and fire prevention and control.
This conference provided businesses with access to accurate and timely information and direct support from relevant authorities, thereby contributing to improved business performance and ensuring compliance with the law in the context of continuously updated regulations.
