On May 15, 2024, at the auditorium of Tan Thuan Co., Ltd., the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Industrial Park Business Association (HBA) and Tan Thuan Co., Ltd., conducted research and organized a seminar entitled "Current Situation and Solutions for the Development of the Business Sector in Vietnam." The seminar was attended by businesses from export processing zones and industrial parks in Ho Chi Minh City to discuss and clarify shortcomings in the legal system, mechanisms, policies, and institutions affecting business development; identify advantages, difficulties, and challenges in business development; and identify obstacles that need to be removed to promote business development in the future.
The seminar also created an open space for businesses to propose and recommend to the government at all levels on improving institutions, laws, and policies for the sustainable development of Vietnamese businesses in the future.
The seminar was lively, practical, and received contributions from representatives of the leadership of various businesses, moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Nga, Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics - Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and Mr. Dao Xuan Duc - Chairman of the Association of Industrial Park Enterprises of Ho Chi Minh City.
