On June 12, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Industrial Park Business Association (HBA), in collaboration with Viettel IDC, organized a thematic workshop: “Digital Infrastructure for Manufacturing – The Key to Driving Green Growth,” aiming to support manufacturing businesses in the national digital transformation process.
The event attracted the participation of nearly 50 HBA member businesses, representatives from key industrial parks and export processing zones in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as technology experts, financial institutions, and government agencies.
The opening remarks by the leaders of Viettel IDC and HBA conveyed a clear message: "Digital infrastructure is not only a technological foundation, but also a driving force for the manufacturing industry to break through in the context of a green economy and global integration."“
The thematic content at the workshop revolved around three key groups of solutions:
– Smart manufacturing & automation,
– Flexible, secure, and sustainable digital infrastructure.,
– Digital finance and mechanisms to support investment capital for industrial enterprises.
Viettel IDC, along with partners such as Streamline, VDS, Mitac Vietnam, and HFIC, presented highly applicable solutions tailored to the specific operational characteristics of factories and industrial parks.
The thematic discussion and Q&A session recorded many practical exchanges revolving around the challenges of optimizing investment costs, ensuring system security, and accessing financial resources when implementing comprehensive digital transformation.
The workshop was honored to welcome representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing Zones and Industrial Parks Management Board (HEPZA) to attend and deliver keynote speeches. This demonstrates the close connection between businesses, solution providers, associations, and state management agencies in the strategy of building smart and sustainable industrial parks.
