Currently, there are over 400 industrial parks and 1,000 industrial clusters nationwide, contributing more than 101% of GDP. With 80,000 hectares remaining out of a total of 180,000 hectares of industrial land, Vietnam has significant potential to develop new-generation industrial parks that apply high technology, smart manufacturing, and sustainability, in order to meet the trends of the 4.0 industrial revolution and the international commitment to net-zero emissions at COP26.

According to Mr. Tu Luong, Director of the Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City: “This is the first time on a national television channel that a series of specialized television programs and digital content about industrial parks and the manufacturing ecosystem has been systematically and comprehensively developed, with sections such as Industrial News, Make in Vietnam, Worker 4.0, Supply Chain Map, Industrial Park Forum… The program will create a unique media ecosystem where the voices of the government, manufacturing businesses, workers, and investors are connected, disseminated, and together towards a common goal: For a self-reliant and strong industrial base for Vietnam.”.

The Vietnam Industrial Park Information Portal (VIZ) plays a strategic role, providing information and connecting investors and businesses with relevant authorities. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Khanh, General Director of VIZ, shared: “The comprehensive communication program on industrial parks and the manufacturing ecosystem, jointly implemented by the Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City and VIZ, will be an important platform to connect businesses, investors, and authorities. Through this, we want to provide viewers and investors with a clear view of the potential and advantages that Vietnamese industrial parks offer. This is an opportunity to showcase modern industrial models, sustainable projects, and high value-added industries, attracting the attention of international partners.”
