On October 9th, the Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VTV9), in collaboration with the Vietnam Industrial Park Information Portal (VIZ), announced a comprehensive communication program on industrial parks and the manufacturing ecosystem.
As Vietnam enters its "era of self-improvement," it is necessary to restructure its economic space, accelerate industrialization and modernization, and promote green transformation., industrial zone And the production ecosystem is considered one of the most important drivers of the economy.
Currently, there are over 400 industrial parks and 1,000 industrial clusters nationwide, contributing more than 101% of GDP. With 80,000 hectares remaining out of a total of 180,000 hectares of industrial land, Vietnam has significant potential to develop new-generation industrial parks that apply high technology, smart manufacturing, and sustainability, in order to meet the trends of the 4.0 industrial revolution and the international commitment to net-zero emissions at COP26.

According to Mr. Tu Luong, Director of the Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City: “This is the first time on a national television channel that a series of specialized television programs and digital content about industrial parks and the manufacturing ecosystem has been systematically and comprehensively developed, with sections such as Industrial News, Make in Vietnam, Worker 4.0, Supply Chain Map, Industrial Park Forum… The program will create a unique media ecosystem where the voices of the government, manufacturing businesses, workers, and investors are connected, disseminated, and together towards a common goal: For a self-reliant and strong industrial base for Vietnam.”.
The Vietnam Industrial Park Information Portal (VIZ) plays a strategic role, providing information and connecting investors and businesses with relevant authorities. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Khanh, General Director of VIZ, shared: “The comprehensive communication program on industrial parks and the manufacturing ecosystem, jointly implemented by the Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City and VIZ, will be an important platform to connect businesses, investors, and authorities. Through this, we want to provide viewers and investors with a clear view of the potential and advantages that Vietnamese industrial parks offer. This is an opportunity to showcase modern industrial models, sustainable projects, and high value-added industries, attracting the attention of international partners.”
The program not only vividly reflects the current situation and potential of more than 25,000 foreign and domestic investment enterprises, along with tens of millions of workers in the production ecosystem, but also plays a policy-building role, promoting investment, innovation, and green transformation according to international standards.

In the long term, the program's creators aspire to build a vibrant, continuously updated "database" on Vietnam's industrial landscape, contributing to shaping Vietnam's image as a strategic manufacturing hub in the global supply chain. With the support of ministries, departments, localities, businesses, and associations, the program will spread the spirit of "self-reliant production and industrial self-sufficiency," ignite aspirations for future development, and attract global manufacturing corporations to Vietnam.
Within the framework of the signing ceremony, a seminar on "Key Issues Promoting the Development of Industrial Parks and the Manufacturing Ecosystem in Vietnam in the New Era" was also held, with contributions from several industrial park management companies and businesses with manufacturing plants located in industrial parks in Ho Chi Minh City.
