In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding dated March 31, 2020, between the Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing Zones and Industrial Parks Management Board (HEPZA), the Ho Chi Minh City Industrial Park Enterprises Association (HBA), and the Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVN HCMC), and the Memorandum of Understanding dated June 19, 2020, between the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park Management Board (SHTP), the Ho Chi Minh City Industrial Park Enterprises Association (HBA), and the Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVN HCMC) regarding the promotion of solar power and participation in demand response (DR) programs among businesses in export processing zones, industrial parks, and high-tech parks, the Steering Committee for the Rooftop Solar and Renewable Energy Development Program is now implementing a plan to organize a series of workshops introducing rooftop solar power and the DR program in 2020 in export processing zones, industrial parks, and high-tech parks.
The series of workshops was organized with the following objectives:
- For businesses in Export Processing Zones, Industrial Parks, and High-Tech Industrial Parks:
- Helping businesses understand the meaning and value of the program;
- Businesses gain access to products and solutions that provide good support for their operations;
- Contributing to enhancing the image and brand of Export Processing Zones, Industrial Parks, and High-Tech Zones, and promoting the attraction of domestic and foreign investment;
- Seize the opportunity to introduce suppliers and choose financing solutions.
- For Home supply: Introducing products, presenting papers, and answering questions from businesses.
- For the Program Steering Committee: To fulfill the role of connecting and supporting businesses in export processing zones, industrial parks, and high-tech industrial parks with the necessary information and enabling their participation in the program.

Series of workshops on the development of rooftop solar power and renewable energy in export processing zones, industrial parks, and high-tech zones in Ho Chi Minh City, 2020-2024.
The series of workshops is co-organized by the following organizations:
- Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing Zones and Industrial Parks Management Board (Hepza);
- Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park Management Board (SHTP);
- Ho Chi Minh City Industrial Zone Business Association (HBA);
- Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVN HCMC)
This includes 10 programs implemented in export processing zones, industrial parks, and high-tech zones in Ho Chi Minh City:

With a program duration of 150-180 minutes, the workshop will introduce, present papers, and answer questions from businesses. Simultaneously, the workshop will serve as a platform to connect investors, equipment suppliers, general contractors, and energy experts to provide solutions for the installation and deployment of rooftop solar power and renewable energy.

The workshop was held in export processing zones, industrial parks, and high-tech zones in Ho Chi Minh City.
