On the morning of January 8, 2023, at Linh Trung 1 Export Processing Zone, the Ho Chi Minh City Industrial Park Business Association (HBA), in coordination with the Trade Union of Export Processing Zones and Industrial Parks of Ho Chi Minh City, the Management Board of Export Processing Zones and Industrial Parks of Ho Chi Minh City, Sepzone Linh Trung VN Co., Ltd., and other businesses in Linh Trung Export Processing Zone, organized a program to award scholarships to children of workers whose parents died due to Covid-19 and to present gifts to workers with particularly difficult circumstances or serious illnesses during the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit 2023.
The program awarded 17 scholarships, each worth 6 million VND, to 17 children of workers whose father or mother died due to Covid-19, and 151 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to workers in particularly difficult circumstances or suffering from serious illnesses, totaling 255 million VND.
This is one of the meaningful activities included in the plan to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit 2023 by the Association of Industrial Park Enterprises of Ho Chi Minh City.
