(HCM CityWeb) – On the afternoon of March 23rd, at the office of the Ho Chi Minh City Industrial Park Enterprises Association, a strategic cooperation signing ceremony took place for the Go Digital program – a program for developing digital businesses in Ho Chi Minh City's export processing zones and industrial parks – between the Ho Chi Minh City Industrial Park Enterprises Association (HBA) and the Digital Transformation Alliance DTS.

Accordingly, the Go Digital Program in 2022 will include activities such as: surveying and assessing the current state and digital transformation needs of businesses in Ho Chi Minh City's export processing zones and industrial parks; training programs to enhance the digital transformation capacity of business staff; introducing digital transformation solutions; and providing consulting services to support businesses in their digital transformation journey.
Mr. Dao Xuan Duc – Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Industrial Park Business Association (HBA) said, “By cooperating with experienced organizations in organizing digital transformation activities for businesses such as the DTS Alliance, we will bring to more than 1,500 businesses in 18 export processing zones, industrial parks, and high-tech zones of Ho Chi Minh City very specific and practical activities such as training, consulting, and introducing solutions in the field of digital transformation to support businesses in successfully transforming digitally in the rapidly changing and highly competitive economy of the digital age. The DTS Alliance will play the role of coordinating the development of ideas and activity programs to support HBA in the development of Vietnam's digital business community.”
Mr. Leon Truong, Chairman of the DTS Alliance, stated: “This partnership is purposeful and strategic, aligning with DTS” operating principles of resource synergy, objectivity, and innovation. Vietnam is rapidly adopting digital technology, and according to GSMA’s market report, it will grow by 431 TP3T within the next five years. With the goal of becoming a leading digital nation by 2030, the business community in export processing zones and industrial parks plays a crucial role in ensuring the feasibility of this plan. I believe that with the cooperation between HBA and DTS, we can contribute to this goal.”
It is known that digital transformation has created many challenges and opportunities for Vietnamese businesses in general, and for businesses in the export processing zones and industrial parks of Ho Chi Minh City in particular. Collaborative relationships with experienced and capable partners will contribute to helping Vietnamese organizations and businesses achieve success in the digital economy.
